UGC Fee Refund Policy

As per the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines, higher education institutions must follow the specified fee refund rules for the academic session 2025–26. These rules are applicable to all UGC-recognized universities and colleges including Awadh Bihari Singh Mahavidyalaya.

• Full refund (with max ₹1,000 deduction as processing fee) for cancellations up to 30 September 2025.
• Partial refunds applicable as per notice date and admission schedule.
• Refunds must comply with the UGC 2018 regulations if cancellation is after 31 October 2025.

This policy outlines the structure for the refund of academic fees when a student formally withdraws their admission. The refund amount is strictly based on the timing of the withdrawal relative to the formally notified last date for admission. All dates are considered as per the official institutional calendar.
